Autoclave for Corrosion Experiments

In 2023, a supercritical autoclave made at the Řež research centre was commissioned. The equipment is mainly used for exposure testing of corrosion samples, but is also to test sorbents and other materials. The autoclave is able to reach a maximum temperature of 700 °C at a pressure of 25 MPa and a flow rate of around 4 kg of CO2 per hour. The autoclave circuit is equipped with humidity monitoring, and it is possible to continuously measure other chemical additives according to the requirements of the experiment.
