Thermohydraulic analysis

Within the design and operation of power systems computing tools and simulations have an irreplaceable role. Commonly performed analyses include heat transfer, flow, pressure distribution, and elasticity and strength calculations. The Řež research centre has the tools and experience to run simulations of the behaviour of complex systems and circuits (so-called system analysis) or, in addition, the detailed analysis of sub-assemblies and individual components using CFD. Computational analysis can be used in the design of experimental devices, for large energy units, and also for the design and optimization of sub-components such as heat exchangers or turbomachines.
